Registration is now open for the NL College of Family Physicians Family Medicine Conference, taking place October 23-25, 2026, at Humber Valley Resort. The conference offers an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues, earn continuing professional development credits, and hear from a diverse lineup of speakers on topics relevant to family medicine practice.
Highlights include sessions on the future of family medicine, pediatric ADHD diagnosis and management, building effective primary care teams, menopause care, chronic pain management, respirology updates, hospitalist medicine, mental health and substance use disorders, and practical ENT pearls. The conference also features engagement sessions with physician leaders and health system partners.
Attendees are invited to enjoy two special social events:
Celebration of Family Medicine on Friday evening, featuring a dinner and presentations, with special guest Premier Tony Wakeham.
Family Docs Rock the Rock on Saturday evening at Marble Mountain Ski Lodge, with storytelling, karaoke, food, and an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues.
Registration includes conference programming, the Annual Meeting of Members, meals, and one complimentary ticket to each evening event.
We encourage you to register early and join us for a weekend of learning, networking, and celebrating family medicine.
